Daily Schedule of Child Workshops

We offer canvases sizes up to 11 by 14 inches. If your child wishes to paint on another surface, such as an unpainted wooden skateboard, ukulele, or wooden box please ensure you purchase the surface before the student’s start date. Your child should bring the surface to the first day of class. Please note that canvases larger than 11 by 14 inches are not permitted. It is important to order only unpainted wooden surfaces.

Additional Supplies

Guardians are required to submit their child's chosen image and select their painting surface at least two weeks prior to the student’s start date. For a five-day camp, the image should not exceed 40 large and small shapes. Students have the opportunity to explore a wide range of subjects, from favorite stuffed animals and realistic figures to manga characters, animals, self-portraits, family portraits, graphic novel-style drawings, landscapes, cherished trinkets, or any combination thereof.

Surface & Image Submission

Campers enjoy scheduled snack and lunch breaks. At 2:00 pm, there's an optional recess at Rochambeau Park, unless a child prefers to continue painting indoors.

Lunch & Recess

Recess takes place at Rochambeau Park, 24th@California Street, three blocks up from our art studio. Children aged 10 and up can opt to stay indoors for their art lesson instead of going to recess. Please indicate this preference on the registration form. However, the studio reserves the right to require outdoor breaks if deemed necessary.
