Chris Babcock Art Prep

For over a decade, Chris Babcock envisioned transitioning her business Chris Babcock Art into a non-profit studio offering the foundations of drawing and painting, a portfolio building program, and classes in textiles, digital arts, sculpture, and photography, accessible to children from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. It wasn't until a series of events in 2022 that Chris started to turn this vision into reality.

Chris Babcock Art Prep, formerly Chris Babcock Art, is committed to nurturing young artists aged 7 to 18 through expert instruction in drawing and painting. Founded by Chris Babcock, an accomplished author, illustrator, and portrait painter, our nonprofit provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment. We focus on developing each student's artistic skills while catering to diverse learning styles and promoting mental and emotional wellbeing.

Our programs prepare students for academic success and careers in the visual arts, as well as a space to explore and become familiarized with the artistic process. Through week-long camps, single day workshops, afterschool programs, and dedicated high school and collegiate advancement tracks, we have an offering for students of various levels, ages, and trajectories.
